Ketamine therapy at Ketamend Wellness will be physician-led and evidence-based.
We plan to offer several treatment pathways, with treatment selection guided by clinical appropriateness, medical history, and individual patient goals.
Our Treatment Options
Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Therapy
IV ketamine is typically administered through a small intravenous catheter in a quiet, private treatment room, IV ketamine allows for precise dosing and continuous monitoring throughout the session. This approach may be appropriate for patients who benefit from gradual dose adjustments and longer treatment sessions.
Intramuscular (IM) Ketamine Therapy
IM ketamine is typically administered via a single injection into a muscle and does not require IV placement. Sessions are typically shorter in duration and may be appropriate for patients who prefer to avoid intravenous access. IM treatment may also be offered at a lower cost.
Spravato® (Esketamine) — Coming Soon
An FDA-approved nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder with acute suicidal ideation. Spravato® services will be offered following completion of REMS enrollment and insurance credentialing.
Choosing the Right Treatment
Every individual’s needs are different. For some, IV or IM ketamine therapy may be the right fit. For others, Spravato® may be an appropriate starting point once available.
Once care is initiated, the first step is a careful clinical evaluation.
From there, we work together to determine the treatment approach that best aligns with your medical history, goals, and preferences.
